Atmu

Atmu
   In Egyptian myth a local deity of Heliopolis. Subsequently became merged with Ra as Ra-Tem. At a later date the name Atmu was given to the setting sun. The name is sometimes spelt Atum. Atmu was a member of the Ennead. He was the father of Shu and Tefnut, and as such dated back to the early stage of Egyptian religion, and was associated with one of the two Deluge Legends of Egypt, the other being given under Ra.
